Michigan State QB Kirk Cousins talks U-M rivalry
Michigan State's starting signal caller, Kirk Cousins, enters his redshirt junior campaign in 2010. Last season, the quarterback was named honorable mention All-Big Ten by the media after throwing for 2,680 yards, 19 touchdowns and nine interceptions as a first-time starter. His passing efficiency of 142.6 ranked third in the Big Ten and 25th nationally.
Cousins was one of three Spartan players at the 2010 Big Ten Football Kickoff, held Aug. 2-3 in Chicago, Ill. The Wolverine caught up with Cousins to talk about being the unquestioned starter for the first time in 2010, the differences between last year and 2010; and the Michigan-Michigan State rivalry.
