Jet Ski keeping head up
Sophomore running back Johnathan Franklin was one of the few bright spots of the Saturday Night shellacking the Bruins were given. He rushed for 73 yards on 11 carries, good for a 6.6 yard per carry average. It could have been even more if not for one his longer runs were called back due to a penalty. Franklin met with the media to discuss the game and the future of the team.
Do you have an explanation for what is happening?
Franklin: "It all goes back to practice. You practice how you play and the way we played on Saturday Night is kind of how we practiced throughout the week. We just have to be consistent on both running the ball and as well as throwing the ball.
