North Carolina A&T Preview

Mississippi State's start to its five games in five days did not go as planned.

The Bulldogs dropped a heartbreaking game to East Tennessee State 63-62 Saturday night but will have little time to dwell on it. MSU will be back in action at 1 p.m. today hosting North Carolina A&T.

The loss was the second straight for the Bulldogs who now fall to 4-2 on the season. It marks the first time State has lost consecutive non-conference tilts since the 2005-06 season. During the two losses the Bulldogs have failed to make a 3-point basket in the second half going 0-for-14 in that span.

All six of the Bulldogs games this season have been decided by 10 points or less.

Today marks the first ever meeting between Mississippi State and the Aggies on the hardwood. The Bulldogs have never lost to a team from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference holding a 4-0 record.
