JT3 talks pre-Marquette

February 12, 2011 - Friday the Georgetown Men's Basketball team held a pre-game press conference, in advance of Sunday's tilt with Marquette. The Hoyas, 18-5 and 8-4 in BIG EAST play are ranked 11 in both major polls, while Marquette (15-9, 6-5); comes into Verizon Center in need of quality wins for NCAA Tournament consideration. In conference, the Hoyas are third, while Marquette's Golden Eagles stand ninth.

During the pre-game presser, Head Hoya John Thompson III met media members, and discussed the following: Syracuse game importance and tactics, development after early losses, his in-game coaching decorum, Julian Vaughn's recent play, Austin Freeman's chance of being BIG EAST Player of the year, expectations of Marquette, the play of freshman Markel Starks and Nate Lubick against Syracuse, and Henry Sims' running for student body vice-president.
