Harris Thinks an Offer Could be Coming

With all the intrigue that continues to surround Oklahoma's 2012 recruiting perhaps no position seems to have people less certain of the future than at cornerback. Not simply because people aren't sure who the Sooners will sign next February but at this point most are unsure who are Oklahoma secondary coach Willie Martinez's true targets.

One player that figures to be in that conversation is Mesquite (Texas) Horn standout Devante Harris who has gone from a relative unknown to one of the hotter names in the Dallas metroplex over the past month. As coaches get back out on the road for Spring evaluations his name only figures to continue to grow as evidenced by a recent Kansas State offer that joined his prior scholarships from Virginia, Missisippi State, and SMU.

However it was a trip of his own that marked Harris' plans last weekend as the 5-foot-11, 160-pound prospect made his first trip to Norman.
