McLemore ready for career at KU to begin

Ben McLemore's journey from Eskridge High School in St. Louis, Mo., to Christian Life Center in Humble, Texas, hasn't necessarily gone as expected for the 6-foot-5, 195-pound shooting guard. In fact, the No. 34 ranked player in the 2011 class expected to finish his senior year at Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Va., but was forced to find a new school halfway through the year. Shortly after enrolling at Christian Life Center, McLemore, with family by his side, announced his intentions to play for Bill Self and the University of Kansas. It was a decision he longed to make, and a dream fulfilled.
