In the world high school sports, playing a variety of positions is common.Midlothian, Va. athlete Joel Caleb knows all about the demands of playing multiple positions, but he also knows that he will take on a new role at the next level.
Right now the Clover Hill High School standout lines up at quarterback and free safety, but he will likely be a wide receiver when he suits up for his new team next fall.
The four star prospect has garnered a great deal of attention from schools all over the country, but the continuous contact doesn't really phase him.
"Recruiting is going well right now. I'm getting calls from coaches pretty much every week, but its going really well," said Caleb.
While there are schools all over the country that covet Caleb's services, a few schools are recruiting him harder than anyone at the moment.
"Right now I would say that Virginia Tech, West Virginia, and Penn State are recruiting me the hardest," said Caleb. "North Carolina is also recruiting me pretty
The Rivals100 athlete has many things that he likes about these programs, but he is most impressed with schools and their surroundings.
"North Carolina is working hard to keep the program up and they added on to the stadium so that's a big plus," said Caleb. "I feel at home at Virginia Tech and it just seems like a good place to be."
These schools may be recruiting Caleb the hardest, but he has over 20 offers and there are other schools on his mind as well. The University of Georgia is one of those schools.
"I like Georgia. I was there during the summer and I liked what I saw," said Caleb. "They are definitely a school I want to go see. I want to get down there for a game."
