Louisiana DT planning official visits

In this past weekend's Louisiana state championships in the New Orleans Superdome, several players made names for themselves. Perhaps none had a bigger impact than Lafayette Carencro defensive lineman Jacoby Briscoe though.

With his team trailing West Monroe 20-3 in the second half of the class 5A final the 6-foot-4, 290-pound senior turned on another gear. He forced two fumbles on successive series as Carencro quickly made the score 20-13. While the offense couldn't quite overcome the deficit in the end there is no denying the fact that Briscoe did everything in his power to rally the team.

Playing defensive end for Carencro, Briscoe has shown he is incredibly versatile. Because of that he has received offers from quite a few programs.
