Small school standout visiting Iowa

If you follow high school football in the state of Iowa, you may have heard of small school standout Nate Meier. The 6-foot-2, 235-pound Meier made headlines in October when he broke a state record with 500 yards rushing and 10 touchdowns in a single game. But that was just one step of the journey for the Tabor, IA native this season as he led Fremont-Mills High School to a 13-0 record and a state title in the eight-man division.

Meier finished his senior season with 2,494 yards rushing and 57 touchdowns on offense to go along with 112 tackles, 34 TFL, and 11 sacks on defense where he lined up at linebacker and defensive end. Named the state's eight-man player of the year, he has seen his recruiting finally start to pick up as well recently.
