Digging deep

For the second consecutive game West Virginia struggled offensively against Kansas State struggling to find any rhythm and string together any successful drives. And after two consecutive lopsided loses, it's gut-check time for the unit and the Mountaineers' season.

"It's one of those things where we've reached our low. It's about as low as it gets. I've never had to deal with adversity of this magnitude, I've never lost two games in this manner and I've got to do a better job of being a leader and stepping up and getting guys to respond," senior quarterback Geno Smith said.
