Gillespie : 'That's one of the better performances I've seen'

Despite losing a heartbreaking matchup 50-49 against Oklahoma, West Virginia fans and coaches alike can take solace knowing they witnessed one of the greatest performances by a single offense player in Mountaineer history.

Senior Tavon Austin lit up the stat sheet and record books Saturday night, putting up 572 all-purpose yards, including 344 yards rushing in his first start at running back in four years at West Virginia. Those numbers were good enough to break the school record in both of those categories.
