Expected Visitors List: Jan. 11, 2013

Michigan has only a small handful of spots remaining in the 2013 recruiting class, and less than a month until Signing Day to fill them. This weekend's visitors list is a smaller one, but includes a couple key recruits.

Uncommitted Official Visitors

Corona (Calif.) Centennial offensive lineman Cameron Hunt
Hunt is a 6-4, 265-pound lineman ranked by Rivals as the No. 27 offensive tackle in the country, although if he ends up at Michigan it will likely be to play guard. Although Hunt committed to Cal nearly a year ago, the firing of Golden Bears head coach Jeff Tedford has him re-thinking his options. He has also scheduled official visits to Cal and Oregon (and is trying to find a date for Ohio State to fit in), but Michigan fans are hoping that his buddy Patrick Kugler can convince him to end the process while he's in Ann Arbor.

Trotwood (Ohio) Madison cornerback Reon Dawson
Detroit Cass isn't the only school from which Michigan has the opportunity to land multiple recruits. If cornerback Reon Dawson switches his pledge from Illinois to Michigan, he'll join linebacker Mike McCray as Trotwood-Madison Rams in the class. Michigan landed a package from the Dayton-area powerhouse in 2008 (Roy Roundtree, Michael Shaw, and Brandon Moore), and could repeat the feat this February.

Michigan Commits - Official Visits

Wexford (Pa.) North Allegheny offensive lineman Patrick Kugler
Although Kugler initially planned to take his official visit Dec. 14 along with the rest of U-M's 2013 commitments, he had to reschedule because his North Allegheny team made the state championship that weekend (which they subsequently won, 63-28). Kugler was kicking around whether to reschedule that visit for this weekend or next, but the official visit of his friend, Cameron Hunt, made it an easy choice.

Detroit Cass Tech safety Delano Hill
Hill is Michigan's most recent commitment, switching his pledge from Iowa Dec. 15. He was only on campus for an unofficial visit that weekend, and will now take his official visit as a committed recruit. Hill is a teammate of two fellow 2013 commitments, offensive lineman David Dawson and cornerback Jourdan Lewis.

Keep in mind that six members of the 2013 Michigan recruiting class - Kyle Bosch, Jake Butt, Taco Charlton, Ross Douglas, Dymonte Thomas, and Logan Tuley-Tillman - are already on-campus and enrolled. Some of Michigan's other local commits may stop into town on unofficial visits, as well.

Stay tuned over the course of the week for more updates to the visitors list.
