QB recaps Iowa visit
Omaha Creighton Prep quarterback Easton Stick made a visit to Iowa City this past weekend to learn more about the Hawkeyes and their interest in him in the Class of 2014. We caught up with the 6-foot-2, 192-pound signal caller to talk about the visit, his conversation with the Iowa coaching staff, where things stand with the Hawkeyes, and which schools he plans to visit next. See what Stick had to say right here.
Q: What all did you get to see and do at Iowa on Saturday?
STICK: First, I watched the skill players work out in the morning at about 7:30 AM. Then I went to Coach Davis' office and had a meeting with him. We just got to know each other a little better and talked about where I stand with them in the whole recruiting process. From there, Coach Morgan showed us around and took us through all of the facilities and the stadium. We got to see all of the suites and the press box and the locker rooms and everything. Then he took us to the academic center and one of the advisors came in and kind of explained how they help the student-athletes and what classes are like and all of the things that center can provide. Then we just went out to lunch and kind of hung out a little bit. That was our day.
As a junior, Stick completed 125 of 210 pass attempts for 2,105 yards and 17 touchdowns and added 512 rushing yards and 14 scores on the ground as well in leading Creighton Prep to an 8-4 record.
