QB Stick has April invites

With two spring invites on the table from Wisconsin, 2014 quarterback Easton Stick is trying to find room in his schedule for a visit to Madison.

"I was invited to Wisconsin's junior day on the April 13 and their spring game (April 20)," Stick told BadgerBlitz.com. "I won't be able to make the spring game because I will be at the Rivals.com Camp Series in St. Louis the next day.

"Right now I'm not sure if I will be able to make it to junior day. I need to talk to coach T.J. Woods this week and hopefully I will know for sure in the next couple days. Wisconsin is definitely a place I want to check out."

Woods, from Omaha (NE) Creighton Prep, threw for over 2,000 with 31 total touchdowns as a junior. Wisconsin appears to have legitimate interest, though the two sides have had a difficult time connecting in recent weeks. Players and coaches return to practice Monday after spring break.

"I haven't been able to talk to them much lately," Stick said. "Schedules have kind of been a mess but they said they are very interested and that I am an elite prospect for them. They told me they would be at school in May to get a better feel for me."
