Stock Report: Who's rising, who's falling
EAST LANSING - Taking a look at the biggest movers and losers coming out of Wednesday's annual Green-White Game spring draft:
Stock On The Rise
1. Lawrence Thomas, sophomore defensive tackle.
The Skinny: We know Kittredge is solid and improving. But LT is rising with a bullet.
2. Riley Bullough, freshman running back.
The Skinny: Coaches might not have originally planned to keep him at RB this week, but they did. That spoke volumes. Then big brother's pick echoed it.
3. Trae Waynes, sophomore cornerback.
The Skinny: This is no surprise. He was excellent in the bowl game in relief of Johnny Adams. Coaches say he's been even better this spring. He's big (6-1, 178), he's fast, he's solid, and he's improving all the time. It was no surprise that Maxwell made cornerback the No. 2 position up for grabs in the draft, taking Waynes as the first selection in that round.
