SEC spring rewind: Tennessee
Knoxville, Tenn. -- The Tennessee football program has seemingly remained in perpetual turmoil since the Vols fired hall of fame head coach Phillip Fulmer after the 2008 football season.
Two head coaches and a combined 23-27 record later the Vols have their fourth head coach in six seasons as Butch Jones was pegged as the replacement for Derek Dooley, who finished with three losing seasons in Knoxville and a worse combined record than Vanderbilt during those three seasons.
But Jones has returned a great deal of optimism to 'Big Orange Country' since he was hired in December, mostly on the back of an already impressive recruiting haul for the class of 2014.
