Turner drawing more interest

With a 6-foot-4, 275-pound frame and four FCS level scholarship offers on the table, Cedar Rapids Xavier lineman Cole Turner remains one of the most sought after uncommitted in-state senior prospects. That combination has college coaches in a wide range of locations calling him and that includes the Hawkeyes.

"Wyoming, Western Illinois, Illinois State, Minnesota, South Dakota State, UNI, Iowa, and Iowa State all have called."

Iowa City is one of the places that Turner has been able to visit already this season as well.

"I visited Iowa for the Missouri State game and then went to Iowa State for the Iowa-Iowa State game. I just went to UNI this weekend."
