Kameron Chatman caps off special year with title

Portland, Ore., Columbia Christian state's Division 1A State Basketball Championship 68-49 over Horizon Christian last Saturday, and Michigan class of 2014 signee was a big reason why. The 6-8 Chatman has been everything expected and more this season and will fit perfectly at U-M, his coaches predict.

Chatman scored 19 points to lead the Knights to the title, six below his season average. Assistant coach Craig Moody watched him blossom into one of the nation's most versatile players.

He had a tremendous year," Moody said. "Kam is overall one of those kids that can kind of do everything on the court. He does what he has to do to win."
