Recruiting heating up for Munns
Jason Munns, a pre-evaluation Rivals100 member for 2007 had an awesome 2005 season as he passed for close to 2,300 yards and 32 touchdowns. This 6-foot-5, 228-pound quarterback out of Kennewick, Wash., Southridge has certainly received more attention than he expected; are the Ducks one of those schools clamoring for his services?
"Arizona State, Washington State, BYU and Utah are my only offers so far," Munns said, "but I'm getting a ton of mail from all over the place. Michigan, Washington, Cal, Stanford, USC, Notre Dame, Florida, Florida State, Virginia, Clemson, Nebraska, Oregon, Oregon State, and several others are showing me quite a bit of attention.
"I've been on unofficial visits to Washington, Washington State, Utah and BYU," Munns said, "and every one of them had their special things. I had more time at Washington State and BYU, so I was able to see more of the campuses and communities at those places.
"I'm planning to take all five of my official visits in the fall. I hope to get to places further away...places that I can't get to real easily."
