There's just something about Tech
A little less than two months ago, Texas Tech signed seven defensive backs to help compensate for the graduation of guys like Vincent Meeks, Dwayne Slay, Khalid Naziruddin, and eventually guys like Antonio Huffman and Chris Parker. Sure names like Jamar Wall and Steven Harris, among others, are reason enough for excitement. But that alone won't stop the Red Raiders from pursuing a few defensive backs in this year's class, one being Tejay Johnson.
Johnson already has a nice list of early offers going for himself. One school added to it earlier this week.
Aside from Texas Tech, Johnson has offers from "Wisconsin, Iowa State, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Arizona State, Indiana, and Georgia Tech."
Johnson, as talented as he is, played both offense and defense this past season for South Garland.
