Oregon State continues to evaluate QB's

The search for quarterbacks continues for the Oregon State football coaching staff, and one signal caller it appears the Beavers will be evaluating hard this summer and beyond is Ryan Lindley.

The strong-armed 6-foot-3, 208-pound quarterback from El Capitan High School in Lakeside, Calif., is hearing from a number of schools on both coasts, and OSU is one in the mix.

He's busy with his preparations for next year while awaiting his first scholarship offer.

"Things are going good for me right now," Lindley said. "I've been getting ready for next year, working on getting faster and stronger. My quarterbacks coach has been working with me on my footwork and my quickness, and I've been doing a lot of drills to improve myself. Coaches have been coming out to practice and stuff and it's really exciting that all the hard work is starting to pay off."
