A look ahead at Cameron Saddler

Gateway High School in Monroeville, Pa., has had a number of Division I prospects over the past few years. 2005 graduate Justin King was one of Penn State's impact freshmen last fall, while 2006 grads Dan Loheyde and Aaron Smith will arrive at Pitt this summer and their teammate David Williams is on his way to Michigan State.

In the current class, wide receiver/tight end Jon Ditto figures to be among the best prospects in the country. And the list doesn't end there. On Monday the Pantherlair reported on Gateway sophomore (class of 2008) Shayne Hale, a 6'4" linebacker who'll be a national recruit.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, in terms of size at least, is 5'7" Gateway sophomore Cameron Saddler. Saddler attended the Nike camp at State College on Saturday, and he spoke with the Pantherlair following the camp.

He mentioned Florida, Pitt and Penn State as a few of his favorite schools.
