DL lands second offer

Defensive tackle/tight end Porter Hill (6-4, 275, 4.95) from Compton, Calif., has been quite the attraction this spring. Hill is one of the reasons that Compton high has had a lot of college representatives on campus the last two months.

Hill had an early offer from the Baylor and now the Bears have company as he picked up his second offer.

"Colorado State joined Baylor with an offer," Compton coach Calvin Bryant said. "(Colorado State assistant) Coach Jesse Williams[db] offered both (running back/defensive back) [db]Anthony Wright and Porter."

Both young men could see more offers soon. Besides Baylor Colorado and Colorado State; representatives from USC, UCLA, Cal, Washington State, New Mexico, San Diego State, BYU, Weber State, Utah State, Nevada, Idaho and Nebraska have already been on campus.
