Love piling on offers

One of the Lone Star state's most recognized players in recent weeks has to be North Garland linebacker Jermaine Love. The hard-hitting tackler's offer list seems to grow larger each day as teams from around the country are putting their name in the hat for his services.


So far in the race for Love's services are offers from Arkansas, Kansas State, Iowa State, Arizona, Washington State, Indiana, LSU, and TCU to name a few.


A starter since his sophomore year, only because the school has a tradition of not letting freshman play on the varsity, the 6-foot, 200 pound Love had a stellar junior campaign en route to 1st team district honors. Not only did he earn district accolades, he also broke the school record for tackles and sacks with 104 and 10 respectively.
