Vols In Good Shape With Texas QB

With most high schools wrapping up the school year right now, and the majority of college coaches coming off the road following the spring evaluation period, recruiting is getting ready to slow down a bit in most instances.

One exception to that is Texas quarterback prospect Joe Chaisson, a prominent target for Tennessee at the quarterback position.

While many of his peers are headed on family vacation this time of year, Chaisson is headed to Knoxville for an unofficial visit next weekend.

Chaisson (6-foot-2, 172 pounds) from Beaumont, emerged as a serious target for the Vols early this spring. Based off the fact that he and his family are making the long drive to Knoxville next week to visit the campus unofficially, one has to think that he's got a high level of interest in the Tennessee program right now.
