Bruins looking at Texas standout

The Bruins have already thrown their hat into the ring for the services of Arrelious Benn from Washington D.C., and now UCLA is planting the seeds for another top-flight receiver in Terrance Toliver from Hempstead, Texas. The Bruins have plenty of company as Tolliver already has over 15 offers.

Toliver fits the profile of a UCLA recruit. He's very athletic and versatile. He earned the Greater Houston Area Athlete of the Year.

For the uninitiated, that is quite an honor. The Houston area is a virtual factory for great athletes for all sports and to be named Athlete of the Year is huge.

The three-sport standout is a three-time first-team all-district selection. That means he was all-district as a freshman another rarity in Texas.
