Abreu still has BC in mind

Although he still claims he has no leaders at this time, one school Union City, N.J., Union Hill linebacker Manny Abreu is seriously considering is Boston College. EagleAction caught up with the 6-foot-4, 215-pounder to see what has been going on in relation to the Eagles.

"I haven't received a phone call from the coaches this month yet, but they did come in and meet with my head coach," he said. "I'm looking forward to getting that call because previously I've talked to Bill McGovern and I like him a lot. He has talked to me about Brian Toal and how he's a big-time player for them and the fact that I remind him a lot of Toal. That was great to hear because if he can go there and be successful, then I definitely can too.

"I also really like that coach McGovern isn't pressuring. I'd say he's a very comfortable coach to talk to because although I know he's recruiting me, it seems more like he's just trying to teach and help me. I like that. He talks about the process and just seems like a good guy overall."
