Allen still has Buckeyes on his mind
In recent weeks there's been a bit of concern from fans of Ohio State that this year's fertile Michigan recruiting ground is drying up.
OSU is chasing Muskegon defensive back and Rivals five-star talent Ronald Johnson along with three touted players from St. Mary's High School in Orchard Lake -- quarterback Justin Siller, receiver Taurian Washington and defensive back Dionte Allen.
The 6-0, 175-pound Allen is a four-star prospect ranked 33rd nationally by Rivals, and has been the one most often linked with Ohio State.
Recent updates have seemed to indicate that maybe the Buckeyes are dropping in Allen's eyes, but he said that's not the case.
By now everyone knows that Allen is cousins with OSU signee Aaron Gant, and there's been talk of the two possibly playing together in college.
Right now it's only talk, but it's also realistic.
