A real eye-opener
At Texas' June 4 mini-camp, an event that was attended by 19 of the Horns' 21 commits and all six offensive line pledges, several players drew rave reviews from their peers. The positive analyses poured in on both sides of the ball, including along the o-line.
As one might expect, guys like Tray Allen and Michael Huey (both Rivals100 members) drew praise from their peers, but there was another Longhorn lineman commit that did his best to steal the show. In talking to two highly-rated defensive line prospects that attended the camp, both players singled out one lineman as the best of the bunch
none other than Matt Nader.
The blue-chip prospect out of Austin Westlake drew praise for his combination of size, strength and off-the-charts footwork, and Nader said things couldn't have gone better for the entire line during the one-day camp.
