San Diego lineman up to eight offers

San Diego Francis Parker offensive lineman Tyler Mabry has been receiving a lot of attention lately. Not that that's anything new to the mammoth offensive tackle. With eight scholarship offers and others likely on the way, Mabry is quickly becoming one of the most sought after high school talents in Southern California.

For right now, Mabry is enjoying the recruiting process. "It's pretty crazy," Mabry stated. "I've been getting a lot of attention and a lot of offers. It's just a fun time."

Mabry is currently considering scholarship offers from San Diego State, Utah, Boise State, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Duke, and Northwestern. Although he doesn't have a clear favorite as of yet, a few schools are standing out to Mabry. "I'm definitely looking for schools that have a solid football team and are also known for academics," he said. "I like Northwestern a lot. I'm impressed by Oregon. They're a great football program in the PAC 10 and they also have a good business school. The San Diego State coaches have been really nice, and there are aspects of me that wouldn't mind staying home. I really have no idea right now, but I'd definitely rather be in my position than have no offers right now."
