Wade has a 'special' plan
Being one of the top recruits in the Pacific Northwest, Myles Wade is used to be being the center of attention. The 6-foot-1, 316-pound defensive tackle from Portland, Ore., is hoping to share that spotlight with some other top players that aren't getting the notoriety.
"My main focus right now is that I'm trying to organize something with the best football players in Oregon for the Special Olympics and it's going to be run through the place where I work out at," Wade said. "I just want to volunteer and give back to the community."
Wade's five-year old sister, Olivia, was born with Down Syndrome. She'll begin participating in the Special Olympics program, prompting Wade to put his plan into action.
