State of UCLA recruiting - Part III
Unfortunately for the Bruins they don't have the numbers to give for the class of 2007. Still the interest in the program from recruits is very healthy and the framework for growth in the coming years is very good. New recruiting coordinator Dino Babers has done an excellent job getting the Bruins on the right players.
It wasn't too long ago the UCLA was way out of favor with the recruits that isn't the case anymore. The Bruins are competing for some the nation's best prospects, against some the nation's best programs and they are in the game.
This does not mean they are going land everybody UCLA wants or win every recruiting battle, but at least now they are a viable option for many recruits.
If UCLA continues to win they could quickly become the flavor of the month and recruiting will be that much easier.
The Bruins have an excellent chance with the following players and they are challenging some of the Country's top flight programs.
