Johnson still searching

The summer could be slow for Garland (Texas) South Garland safety Tejay Johnson, who says he isn't planning to attend football camps during the summer months.

Instead, the 6-foot, 185-pound Johnson has 17 scholarship offers to look over and, who knows, he could add more before the fall. Along with looking over his offers, Johnson said he is running the 110-meter hurdles during the summer track and field season.

Of his offers, Johnson says the Wisconsin Badgers continue to be a player for his services. In fact, Johnson last heard from his recruiter Kerry Cooks during May's evaluation period.

Johnson said the schools recruiting him the hardest are LSU, Oklahoma State, TCU and Duke.
