Is Robinson still interested in the 'Hoos?

Somerville (N.J.) athlete/defensive back Mason Robinson (5-foot-10, 180 pounds, 4.41 seconds) is an explosive athlete who is a threat on either side of the ball. Robinson, who is being recruited by the Cavaliers as an athlete, now holds 10 scholarship offers with more on the way. Virginia has traditionally recruited well in New Jersey. Can UVa continue the trend and land another standout from the Garden State?

"Virginia is a team that I am definitely interested in. If I had to say right now, UVa would be one of my top three choices with Boston College and Rutgers," said Robinson.

Robinson said his mother shares that sentiment.

"Virginia is my mom's favorite. She loves it there. We visited there during a junior day and I was very impressed by the way they do things both academically and in the football program."

Robinson now holds offers from 10 schools.

"I have scholarship offers from Virginia, Colorado, Maryland, Rutgers, Boston College, Michigan State, Iowa, Minnesota, Vanderbilt and Temple so far. Penn State told me they were still evaluating. Michigan is another program that is staying in contact."
