Cali QB headed to Lone Star state
One of the fastest rising quarterbacks on the West Coast has been San Jacinto (Calif.) High School signal caller Chasen Stangel. After visiting Washington just a short time ago, he came to the conclusion on where he wanted to play college football. It just wasn't going to be in the Pac-10.
The 6-foot, 184-pound prospect, who held offers from the likes of Purdue, SMU, Idaho, Utah State, New Mexico State, Wyoming, and numerous others, decided he'd be taking his Division I football days to the Lone Star state.
