Who's in the mix? Small forwards

Only a few names come to mind when it comes to the small forward position for Wake recruiting. We all know there are other areas to address but there is still some very talented prospects Skip Prosser and his staff are keeping watch on. Look inside to get what our thoughts are on the small forwards.

Jacksonville, Fla., Arlington Country Day standout A.J. Stewart has an offer from Wake and has the Demon Deacons in his top seven schools. The 6-foot-7, 180-pound prospect is ranked No. 52 in the Rivals150 for the class of 2007. He averaged 15-points and 12-rebounds this past season leading his team to a state championship. His best game he managed to score 23-points and grab 21-boards.

The four star prospect has great size and he has an incredible amount of athleticism. He hits the boards hard and plays great defense. When his game becomes complete, it is safe to say he will make one college very happy. So what are his thoughts on Wake Forest? "They play in the ACC, and I like that conference. You know your going to play good competition every game. I know coach Battle and he is pretty cool. I like their style of play and they will be a school I definitely consider," Stewart said. Things will get begin to get really interesting in the middle of the fall when Stewart begins to start really focusing on his recruiting process.
