Talented junior lineman visits Clemson Friday

Tigerillustrated.com told its subscribers two years ago the 2007 haul in-state would be arguably one of the best ever. And last year we documented that 2008 could conceivably be even deeper with plenty of top flight division I-A prospects holding nationally ranked status.

One of those 2008 targets introduced by Tigerillustrated.com back on March 19th is Pelion two-way lineman Dalton Freeman.

The 6-foot-6, 260-pounder spent time on both sides of the ball last season, actually making plenty of noise as a defensive lineman where he recorded 68 tackles, third best on the team, and six sacks.

And while Freeman will again play both ways for the 2-A Panthers this season, he projects as an offensive lineman in college, and in fact is being recruited by Clemson as an offensive guard.
