Centurion to add some depth up front

Pitt has verbal commitment from a number of offensive linemen from the recruiting class of 2007 to help supplement offensive tackle Jeff Otah and offensive guards Joe Thomas, Scott Corson and Kevin Hughes who were brought into the program this year.

Offensive line coach Paul Dunn is trying to build some depth up front. This fall former Greensburg Catholic lineman Alex Karabin(6' 2" 297) will join the Panthers football program as a walk-on. He was brought in as a preferred walk-on to help bolster the center position.

Karabin was a solid student coming out of high school with a 3.1 GPA and a 1,170 on his SAT exams. He attended the Air Force Academy Prep School this past year and would have four years of eligibility. Pitt offensive guard Dominic Williams also attended the Air Force Academy Prep School.
