Louisville recruiting 2008's No. 1 player

While the basketball recruits in the 2007 class are in full swing currently at All-American Camps across the nation, the Louisville coaches have spent much of the week scouting talent in the 2008 class.

In New Jersey, Indianapolis and Atlanta, Louisville coaches are watching the best and the brightest from the junior class, and they just might have an in with the No. 1 player in the country.

Tyreke Evans, a 6-foot-5 shooting guard from Aston, Pa., near Philadelphia, is one of the best players in the nation in the 2008 class.

Word around camp from those close to his recruitment says he has a list of about 10 schools currently, but four schools will likely be there in the end for his eventual commitment - Connecticut, Louisville, North Carolina and Villanova.
