Will Texas safety visit KU?
More than anything else, James Thomas, the No. 50 ranked player in Texas, loves to make big-time plays that have the potential to change or determine the outcome of a game. It doesn't matter if the 6-foot, 169-pound safety from La Marque High School is returning an interception for a touchdown, or laying the wood to a running back or wide receiver.
Because of his aggressiveness on the field, Thomas has become a top priority for many Division I programs.
To date, Thomas, a three-star prospect, has received scholarship offers from Arkansas, Baylor, Indiana, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Mississippi State, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and Tulsa.
