Tony Tucker Talks Tennessee
Though summer isn't quite ready to call it quits, it's close enough to being over that many of those high school prospects with a time-table are getting close to paring down their list of suitors to the ones they're serious about making official visits to. If you're one of those schools in the mix, it helps if you've been able to get the prospect to town in the offseason, as Tennessee did with Tony Tucker, a Rivals.com four-star prospect at defensive end.
Getting players on campus in the offseason was a priority for the coaching staff this offseason, and Tucker (6-foot-2, 225 pounds, 4.65 40-yard dash), from Washington D.C.'s St. John's high school, is one of those who made the trip to Knoxville.
With plenty offers to sort through--Boston College, Virginia Tech, Clemson Georgia Tech, Maryland, Tennessee and among them-Tucker tried to gather as much information as possible about his suitors with a strong of unofficial visits earlier this summer.
The last trip he made was an early June trip to Knoxville, and since then he says that he's been focusing on getting ready for his own season.
