Vegas: Day Two

You saw our first report from yesterday's action on that thrilling battle
among four of the top 10 players in the class, but most of the day was spent
running around checking out many of the more remote gyms in Las Vegas where
other prospects of Indiana interest were in action and often playing in front of
one of the Hoosier staff.

Our first look at Nayal "Mac" Koshwal came yesterday in a city rivalry type class between his Chicago Jaguars squad and the New York Elite traveling team. The 6-foot-9, 235-pound Koshwal is a man inside and showed it by pulling down about 14 boards to go along with well over 20 points. And he was doing it most of it against top 50 ranked 6-foot-11 big man Teeng Akol, a huge Big East target.

Speaking of the Big East, Koshwal mentioned DePaul first when going through his listed schools. He did affirm Indiana interest and talked like he may want to stay near the midwest even though he has been in Chicago for about four years now after emigrating from Canada and Africa before that. Koshwal
plays for Boyz to Men Academy, a new prep school in the Windy City.
Unfortunately his Jaguars team collapsed down the stretch, losing a nice lead
and their first Big Time pool game to the NYC team.
