Four-star Burnett spends time at Tech
College Park, Ga., North Clayton defensive back Morgan Burnett, who is a member of the Rivals250 and a four-star prospect, visited Georgia Tech on a recent Saturday afternoon. Burnett, who is 6-foot-1 and 180 pounds, spent about three hours on the campus while he toured the facilities and met with the coaching staff.
"I was up at Georgia Tech about two weeks ago," Burnett said. "It went really good. I talked to the coaches and they showed me around the facilities and everything. I sat down and talked to the head coach, Chan Gailey. He was telling me they liked me academically and athletically and they want me there at Georgia Tech."
Burnett is being recruited by linebackers coach Brian Jean-Mary.
"I also talked to a couple boys that played on the team when I was there," Burnett said. "I talked to safety Djay Jones. I know Tashard Choice so I talked to him a lot."
