Budinger goes up against Michael at Jordan Camp

Life isn't so bad for Chase Budinger. Ever since winning MVP of the McDonald's All-American game, he's been touted as one of the emerging basketball players in the country, regardless of age.

That distinction has taken him overseas, put him in magazines and given reason for the shoe companies to begin practicing their sales pitches for whenever he chooses to go pro.

All that is nice, but to most young basketball players, nothing could compare to the opportunity of going one-on-one with the best in the history of the game, Michael Jordan.

On Wednesday at the Jordan Flight School in Santa Barbara, California, Budinger got to go up against - and play on the same team with - #23.

"It was really special being out there going against him," said Budinger. "He's been an idol to me for so long that playing against him was a dream come true."
