Teague has a trio of favorites

There might not be a hotter commodity in the basketball recruiting world than Jeff Teague. The 6-foot-1 combo guard from Pike High School in Indianapolis completed his meteoric rise up the recruiting charts with a big time performance in Las Vegas and at U.S.S.S.A. nationals.

When asked about his performance in Vegas, Teague said, "I think I did alright." According to Teague it was his quickness that separated him from the rest of the players. "Probably the way I was using my speed is what stood out."

After his team reached the semi finals in Vegas, Teague and his Spiece Indy Heat teammates played in U.S.S.S.A nationals in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. At U.S.S.S.A, Indy Heat met with their rivals the Spiece Central Stars. The game was coming down to the wire when Teague had the ball in his hands 60 feet from the basket.
