Four-star sets official visit

When John Mack took over Ventura (Calif.) Saint Bonaventure he quickly built into one of the best programs in Southern California. Mack has done a great job developing players and getting them ready for the D-I level.

This year four-star cornerback/safety Michael Williams is garnering a lot of attention from D-I schools.

Besides being one of the best defensive backs in California, Williams can also help a team as special teams player.

As a junior, Williams returned 17 punts for 318 yards while averaging 18.7 yards per punt return and brought two back for scores. He's also a lethal kick returner. Williams returned 13 kicks for 555 yards and one touchdown while averaging 42.7 yards per return.

Because of his returning ability, Williams helps get his team's offense in great field position.

Williams has one official visit set to Notre Dame on September 9th and will definitely visit Michigan but the date hasn't been set at this time.

Williams made the Rivals250 team for the class of 2007. rates Williams as the nation's No. 10 cornerback and he also made the preseason California top 100 landing as a the Golden State's No. 15 prospect at any position.
