Foster pushing for starting job
Brooks Foster has patiently - and sometimes not so patiently - waited for this opportunity. It's his time now and the opening is there for the taking.
North Carolina lost all of its experience at receiver aside from Jesse Holley, who will again start at one slot. Foster, a third-year sophomore, had the next most playing time in the corps even though he's without a career catch.
"I'm very excited," said Foster, who will don jersey No. 1 this season. "I've been waiting for this chance. We've had a bunch of receivers for a long time."
