Dorrell pleased with second practice

The second verse was better than the first and that is the way it is supposed to be. The Bruins were much crisper for the second practice. Quarterback Ben Olson was much sharper and the defense are playing tough, aggressive football. The thing about the defense is they are playing faster and 11 hats are going toward the ball. Coach Karl Dorrell was pleased with his team's practice.


Dorrell: "Today was a good practice. We had a good one yesterday, but I think today was a little sharper as a team. I like how we finished the practice with our regular guys competing and guys flying around. We're getting a lot of work done without any pads on, which is fun. You have to be cautious about that because usually you can get an injury or so with guys colliding.


"Junior Taylor got hit again. I think that is good for his knee. He bounces right up.
