Secondary concerns observers, not players

There may not be a worse-kept secret than what is the biggest worry of Ohio State fans as the 2006 season approaches: the all-new defensive backfield.

With all four 2006 starters currently in NFL camps, the onus is on a mostly young group to come together quickly to help prop up the Buckeyes' national title hopes.

And they know it.

Asked if he thinks opposing teams will target the OSU secondary as a weakness, sophomore safety Jamario O'Neal said, "Definitely."

"They're going to come at us just because they know we're a whole new secondary," O'Neal said.

"They're going to see what we're about, just like any offense would, so we're aware of that and we know that we have to be on top of our game."
