Love remaining patient
Things are now in full swing for blue-chip linebacker Jermaine Love, with his senior year of school starting on Monday. And while his academic obligations are just beginning, Love has already been hard after it on the football field during preseason workouts with his North Garland teammates.
The 6-foot, 200-pound speedster is starting at linebacker, running back and even works on the special teams units for the Raiders. North Garland didn't make it to the postseason last season, but Love is hoping that will change this fall.
"It's going really good. I'm going both ways and the team is looking really good. We want to make the playoffs and go really deep," said Love.
